Thank you for your support of Vedic Cultural and Spiritual Center of San Diego. As you know, we are able to manage our operations based on memberships, donations and matching grants. With the planned build out of our center, we need your financial support more than ever. Many corporations such as Qualcomm provides matching grant. We request you to apply for this grant.
Listed below are the some of the frequently asked questions with regard to matching grant program to support Vedic Cultural and Spiritual Center of San Diego.
What is the matching Grant?
Many corporations support non-profit organizations such as Vedic Cultural and Spiritual Center of San Diego. These corporations match your contributions (annual basis, or whenever you make a contribution). Some may have a limit of money (eg: $50 and above). When you make contributions such as building contributions, pillar contribution, fund raising contributions, these are allowed for matching grants. You can apply to get the same amount for our center.
How does this work?
When you make a contribution, please go to your company’s Human Resources and ask for matching contribution details. Typically, they may ask you to fill out a form. In that, the following information may be required including amount for which the matching grant is applied.
